VPPRO unload and output crashing - help!
Using Informix VPPRO 2.1's Direct SQL Entry, I do
the following (eliminated fields for brevity):
select ...
from ...
where ...
into temp temp1;
select ...
from ...
where ...
into temp temp2;
No problems so far.

The following works like a charm:
select ...
from temp1, temp2
where ...
order by ...;
As does:
select ...
from temp1, temp2
where ...
into temp temp3;
select * from temp3
order by ...;
---
***BUT THE FOLLOWING CRASH:
unload to "foofile"
select ...
from temp1, temp2
where ...
order by ...;output to "foofile"
select ...
from temp1, temp2
where ...
order by ...;
unload to "foofile"
select ...
from temp3
order by ...;output to "foofile"
select ...
from temp3
order by ...;
In the former pair, I get an ISAM error message
that says temp1 and temp2 aren't found.
In the latter, I get an error message that temp3
isn't found.
Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated!
