Solaris 2.6. I heard that it's the limit of Informix, not OS. Even if OS is 64bit, Informix still can't use more than 2GB share memory. I'm not sure if it's true. But I once set "SHMTOTAL" to 3000000, when I restarted Informix it even couldn't use more than 500MB. I think maybe Informix can't recognize any number greater than 2GB.
