connection problem

Hi guys, I have this bad problem that I can't seem to figure out why, hope that someone here can shed some light. We used to have this table that is 14 GB big (contains image BLOBs) and we thought that it's time to move it out of our main Informix instance (about 12 GB) to reduce our backup time. So we moved it out and created a brand new instance and created to synonymn for applications to access to this new instance. We are able to read the table from the 1st instance but one of our application program seems to bomb out with this error : SELECT LENGTH:t_image_magnetic SQL Error : -934 : Connection to remote site no longer valid. finderr explanation for 934 : This statement uses data from another computer system, and the connection has been lost. Roll back the transaction and try again after reestablishing the connection. t_image_magnetic is our table in the new instance. We get this error for some very specific images. For most other images, it seemed to work fine. But I just cannot find out why it always happen to the same images. Help....anyone? ** Chris Seow ** ** Chris Seow **
