Sorry for the OT subj, but I did not receive any replies from the linux mailing list so I post it here.... Hi, The following message appears every time a ksh (non-bash) user attempts to login on the console - Last login: Sun Apr 16 19:15:22 2000 on /dev/console ksh: No controlling tty (open /dev/tty: Device not configured) ksh: warning: won't have full job control However, this does not happen when I login from a ptty... Also, the INT seq. key does not work on console! I've tried ctnl+c, ctnl+bkspc, and ctnl+\\ (I have to login from a ptty and send a INT signal to make it stop!) Any help appreciated... OS 5.2 (Apollo) KEYBOARD=us, qwerty.map Thanks, Sunil
