Date & Time Field

I am trying to access data from Informix 7.2 using ADO 2.5 or ADO 2.6. The data is a date field that contains time only. When I access the same data from Microsoft Access I can read the data just fine, but when I try to use ADO in Visual Basic 6.0 I get an error message --------------------------- Microsoft Visual Basic --------------------------- Run-time error '-2147217887 (80040e21)': Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value. --------------------------- OK Help --------------------------- When I save the data in XLM format the date and time is in the field. How can I read the data from that field.
