Syntax is:
unload into <filename> select ... ;
where the select can have any features of the not-unloaded select statement.
The converse operation is:
load from <filename> insert into <tablename> [ ( col, ... ) ];
Note that the insert does not have a "values" clause. The optional column
list is needed if the load file does not contain a data value for each
column in the table, or if the data columns are in a different order from
the table definition. Unnamed columns must accept NULLs.
This syntax should be described in your SQL reference manual. Very early
versions of Informix SQL did not support this functionality. Are you using
really old software?
