Old script updated in IIUG software library - dbspace-pages.sh

Hi Family. I submitted dbspace-pages.sh some years back it seemed to last so well - nobody had any complaints about it, at least as long as my contact e-mail was @netscape. Well, after 6 years of apparently loyal service I discovered a bug: It miscalculated by treating the free blob-page count like a free page count. The result was that an empty blob space with a 32K blob-page size would be counted as 93% full. Whoops! There go the dbspace alarms! I've just fixed it. Download & enjoy. (And then get out a little more! Enjoying a utility program is probably a sign of undiagnosed mental health issues. >;-) Leave that on your stoop and see if the cat licks it up. :-) -- J.
Just a quick follow-up for when my recent submission actually gets posted: When I originally submitted dbspace-pages.sh it was part of a bundled set of scripts named "monitor-space". This includes scripts to use dbspace-pages.sh to actively monitor the fullness of dbspaces. The submission here is for a stand-alone version of this script. As before (but without the cheap Dennis Miller impression :-), download & enjoy. -- J
