Help! Looking for Data load utilities

Hello, We are in the process of moving from Oracle to Informix OnLine Server 7.2 for Windows NT and are trying to identify a utility which provides similar functionality to the Oracle SQL*Loader. So far we have examined the dbload utility and have found it somewhat limited and inefficient. The main problem is that we have data coming in from several external interfaces with differing date formats which we need to load into our database - dbload does not allow us to easily indicate the incoming date format or provide conversion "on-the-fly" to the Informix standard internal format. We believe that there may be a way to handle this problem using the DBDATE environmental variable, but that involves making changes to the registry which has us a little scared. Does anyone have any experience dealing with this situation or with any commercially available data load utilities? Any help is appreciated. Ken Shuck
