'size' is the size of the extent, in pages (2k on my Sun, see your
onconfig file).
An 'explanation' of this table and others is in the Server Admin Guide. There's
a section on the sysmaster database.
Some more info can be found in $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sysmaster.sql.
