Temp tables - Where are they

Hello all, Please see the below part of the output of "onstat -g ses <session id>" ---------------------------------------------------- Id Stmt type Database Lvl Mode ERR ERR Vers 45 - stores7 NL Not Wait 0 0 7.30 Last parsed SQL statement : select * from customer into temp temp1 User-created Temp tables : partnum tabname rowsize 1000ab temp1 134 ----------------------------------------------------- Where is the table with patnum 1000ab created ? I could not find a entry for it in "systables" or in the output of "onstat -t". From which sysmaster table can I get the entry for these temp tables. By the partnum it is in dbspace #1 which is rootdbs. That is because, as has already been pointed out, the table had to be created with logging because the database is apparently logged and the 'WITH NO LOG' clause was left out. Logged temp tables are created in rootdbs if all of the dbspaces listed in DBSPACETEMP are TEMP dbspaces. If any of these are NOT TEMP dbspaces then the non-temp dbspaces are used for logged temp tables, instead of rootdbs, and TEMP dbspaces are used for non-logged temp tables. -- Art S.
