I am running Mandrake 6.0 (Redhat compatible) and IDS7.3 UC7.
Install went fine but after making come recommended edits from the
release pages (this version was purchased from Intraware) the command
oninit -i produced the following error:"Fatal Error In Shared Memory Initialization"
I dont know if the problem is in my onconfig.test file, sqlhost file,
the /proc files (for example I dont know what the value for sshmax
should be in the /proc area.
Any help would be appreciated.

What does your message log file say?
Hi,
When you set your environnement variable, you must put after export PATH :
- export INFORMIXSERVER=your_computer_name_server
- export ONCONFIG=onconfig
