Such as IDS? If not, then it is pretty trivial: rm -fr $INFORMIXDIR mkdir -p $INFORMIXDIR (as user informix). If you have IDS or any other software installed too, then it is harder. You need to remove the files that are specific to I4GL Development, leaving behind any that are shared with the other software. You should find in the IIUG Software Archive (http://www.iiug.org/software/) the package utils_jl which contains a script ixremove. Run it with the -n option until you're sure it is removing the correct stuff. The file is a few years old now - there may be changes in the files list format that mean it works incorrectly (but I think it is OK). -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2008.0513 -- http://dbi.perl.org/ "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused."
