Re: On long checkpoints (again) under IDS 10
Posted in 2009
Hi.
We don't have any replication on our servers.
We migrate to IDS10 because 9.40 has just ended its life cycle, but we didn't realize IDS10 will expire soon also until we finished our tests, and we couldn't wait to test 11.5.
On bufferpool config value, indeed we didn't change it, and we kept old-fashioned syntax. Might that be an issue on performance? No warning or message was delivered when we brought database online for the first time after migration or during this. Anyway, making those changes would be good, I'm going to do that also.
Thanks for your answer
Omar
