Limitations in Developer Edition 11.70.FC5

We are planning to use DE in our development and test environment. I am aware of the limitations to CPU VP's, disk and memory as described in http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0801doe/. Is there any other limitations ? I believe that I saw a limitation of number of sessions but can't find that. TIA Ulf
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v117/index.jsp Limitations on Persistent Connections If your application creates multiple connections to IDS, or uses middleware that creates multiple persistent connections to the data server, make sure that the number of connections does not exceed the Developer Edition connection limit. When you deploy your application on another edition of IDS without the connection limit, remember to increase the number of persistent connections to match the expected production workload. Examples of middleware that create multiple persistent connections to the data server are connection pools, and PHP settings such as * ifx.max_persistent* or *odbc.max_persistent* in the *php.ini* file. 1 year back, I tested was limit to 20 sessions. Now, please refer this Release Notes for further info: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v117/topic/com.ibm.relnotes.doc/notes/ifx_de_1170xc5/ids_unix_relnotes_11.70.html On Wed, Aug 1, 2012 at 6:55 PM, Ulf <ulf.akerberg@gmail.com> wrote: > > Thanks, do you now what the limit is ? > > Any other limits ? > > > Ulf > _______________________________________________ > Informix-list mailing list > Informix-list@iiug.org > http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list >
