HI, Sounds we need add more directories(>=2) to PSORT_DBTEMP if if we have PSORT_NPROCS >=2. otherwise, it will stop at error, create unique index "informix".user_email_idx on "informix".user_email (user_id,email_id) using btree in dbdata00 ; *** execute sqlobj 212 - Cannot add index. 2 - No such file or directory Any comments? I DS10 UC4, AIX3 Thanks, Quman
Does the dbspace dbdata00 exist on the target IDS instance?
If not, you can add that dbspace or you can modify the sql-script
for dbimport : create index ..... in <existing-dbspace>

Andreas

A few points: The entries in PSORT_DBTEMP should be separate filesystem (and ideally on separate physical structures) NOT directories in the same filesystem for best performance. PSORT_DBTEMP works best if there are from 3 to 6 filesystems named, BTW. The errno 2 indicates that one or more of the directories you mentioned in PSORT_DBTEMP did not exist. Art S.
