DB_LOCALE - how to reset

Hi everyone, Please, help me with the following problem: One of our newly created databases suddenly got a DB_LOCALE of en_US.1252, and the rest of DB staff is created and should be en_US.819 for Solaris 2.5 and higher. What would be a proper procedure to reset the value of this variable, and prevent this from happening again? Can I do it on 'live' database, or it should be brought down? Appreciate your time, Sincerely, Elena. Please, reply to : ekorol@styleclick.com

dbexport -> drop database -> set db_locale -> dbimport
