Serious, I think the main difference from 5.x to 6.x is the scale, we're talking about serious database usage, stressing on the exploitation of hardware resources, and the key word here is Scalability. 7.x ??! The Sequent users might have more inputs (or is it outputs?!). The same requirements from 6.x applies. But now we have more parallel capabilities, such as PDQ and stuff like that. WHat can I say, the keyword is Parallelism. Yeah, its probably a good idea to go from 5.x to 7.x, if time is on your side.
