Buffer pools in 11.50.FC5

I need some guidance on BUFFERPOOL. I am receiving the WARNING:
Buffer pool size may cause Dynamic Server to get into a locked state.
Recommended minimum buffer pool size is 4 times maximum concurrent user
threads. I am not sure how that translates into setting the BUFFERPOOL. I
currently have 448 concurrent users.
BUFFERPOOL
size=2K,buffers=850000,lrus=32,lru_min_dirty=30.000000,lru_max_dirty=40.500000
Thank you.

You can ignore that warning. It is triggered by high instantaneous buffer
turnover rates. As long as that rate of buffer turnover is transient you
are OK.
Just check your BTR3 metric value. As long as it is below 10.00 you don't
need more buffers. You can get my ratios.shr_ak package which calculates
all of the relevant metrics for you, or calculate it yourself:
BTR3 = (((pagreads + iswrites + isrewrites + isdeletes) / #buffers) /
(stathrs));
where stathrs is the fractional hours since the engine's stats were last
zero'd (onstat -z) and #buffers is the number of buffers configured for
each page size. (It is best to calculate BTR3 separately for each page
size.)
You can get the individual values needed for each buffer page size from the
sysbufpool table or for a total number from sysprofile in sysmaster.
You can get the stathrs using:
select (pf_curtime - pf_clrtime)::decimal(20,2) / 3600::decimal(20,2) as
stathrs from sysmaster:sysshmvals;

Perhaps a stupid question but are all your dbspaces using a 2 kb page size?
Does 'onstat -g buf' just show one pool?
Ben.
