Informix 7 Standard Engine/ Informix Connect Problem

I'm developing an application that will connect with an Informix 7 SE database using Delphi 5. The server is running on Lunix Red Hat 6.1, and we're using BDE version 5.1 to interface our application with the Informix Connect drivers. All is working well with the exception of one pesky error message that we are unable to get a workaround for. "Master Record Missing. Missing key in referenced table for referential constraint ( blah blah blah)". It only occurs on windows 95/98 and reinstalling the informix client SDK (which is where we got the informix connection drivers from) repairs the problem for a period of maybe two weeks. what I'd like to know is if there is anyone out there who is either currently running a similar setup or has attempted it in the past. If anyone has a work around for this I would greatly appreciate a reply.
