Allen, You should check out SuperNova (http://www.supernova.com). They have a set of devlopment tools that support a wide variety of platforms, databases, and front-end interfaces. Their Component Developer product has native interfaces to both Foxpro and Informix. It also provides an ODBC interface. It allows you to develop a Windows, Unix, or Java front-end for your applications. They are advertising a proof-of-solution evaluation that is fairly risk-free too.
