Off-Topic: Informix Stock

Folks, I know I'm probably going to get a lot of feedback on this, but I'd like to have a reality check here before I go and blow a lot of money. I know many of you and respect your opinions. (At least I'll have the excuse that I did my "due diligence" ;) Just about all of us have a love-hate relationship with Informix. We scream about problems with the products, we scream about management, but most of us are probably using the products and my bet is we're mostly still pretty much believers from the technical side. From the stockholder's side, it's almost like a deathwatch. Informix just closed at 4 1/4 today. During the last runup I wished I had bought right after the stock crashed after the accounting problem. Am I being a complete idiot and Informix chauvinist to think that we're looking at a hell of an opportunity to make some money here? I've been watching the IFMX message board on Yahoo, and it's all a bunch of cheerleaders with axes to grind. You Informix employees be careful on this thread. IFMX is suing to get the names of some of the posters on Yahoo (If you believe anything that's said on the Yahoo board), so you probably shouldn't even respond to this thread. Joe Lumbley
