Prevents to connect from other apps

Hello Informix 7.21/7.30 How can I prevent users to connect to the database from another program than our application ? Our application (running on Windows) connects to the DB through Informix CLI/ODBC and we do not want the user to connect with another program (from MS-Query or VBA for example).
