Hi,
I'm running Informix IDS Version 11.50.FC9 dataserver. I use ALARMPRPGRAM to
backup log files using the 'ontape -a -d' as my backup command. Unfortunately
I have the following messages in the log_full.log file :
.....

Please mount tape 1 on /bases/informix/dsenksen/arch/logical/archive_logs01
and press Return to continue ... Logbackup failed - function op

The /bases/informix/dsenksen/arch/logical/archive_logs01 exists as show below :

-rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 6606028800 Jan 23 15:42
/bases/informix/dsenksen/arch/logical/archive_logs01
And when running 'ontape -a -d' on command line, it runs successfully (as show
below) :

Hi,
Following is the value of LTPADEV
informix@dmba01:dsenksen_tcp:/bases/informix/dsenksen/admin/ontape/sh> onstat
-c | grep LTAPEDEV | grep -v "#"
LTAPEDEV /bases/informix/dsenksen/arch/logical/archive_logs01
Regards
Is this a directory path, or file path? Should be a directory path. LTAPEDEV /bases/informix/dsenksen/arch/logical/archive_logs01 On Thu, Jan 24, 2013 at 4:21 AM, GILLES TCHAPPI <gtchappi@yahoo.fr> wrote: > LTAPEDEV /bases/informix/dsenksen/arch/logical/archive_logs01 > --047d7b676e6e03374b04d40c1905
