Hi everyone!
We're having some problems on one of our tried and tested scripts.
(So they say, I'm just new here)
Let us assume that we have two tables, A & B.
What it does is:
Copy some records from A to B. (About 23,00)
Delete some records in A (Again about 23,000)
Drops and re-creates some indexes on A.
Table A has about 80,000 rows; Row Size=352 bytes.
Indexes are not not that large (20 bytes max).
The error occurs while dropping the indexes on table A.
It does not always occur on the same index.
The script has been running for quite some time now.
We only started having problems these last couple of weeks.
I don't know if the table suddenly became large. I still have to find out.
The script has exclusive access to the database but ISAM error -106 states
that it has non-exclusive access.
Environment: Solaris 2.51, Informix 7.12 UC3
Thanks in advance,
Zandy
