IDS 10.00.FC4 Solaris 10 New server, New Database Database has been up for 6 days. Received this error last night: 08:36:56 listener-thread: err = -25573: oserr = 13: errstr = : Network driver cannot accept a connection on the port. System error = 13. 08:36:57 listener: poll return with non T_LISTEN/T_DISCONNECT event Can anyone assist? Thanks, Mike

Errno 13 is "Permission denied" looks like an unauthorized user tried to connect to the database's port. Perhaps a port-scan attack? Art S. Thanks, I'll have my IT team look into that. Can you possibly help me with what I should be looking for? Is there anything in some log somewhere that I am not aware of? Is there something on the IT side that I can help guide them to? Thanks for your help, Mike
