Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Dear ALL :
Very like the question posted on this Wednesday(topic is :network driver
cannot accept on hp-ux
11.0) . But I got the error message of 25588 instead of 25573. The error
happens when using the dbaccess,4gl program and isql. I always got an
error -25588. And this error happened after we
install the Informix 7.31 UC2 on HP-UX11.0. The NETTYPE is
NETTYPE soctcp,1,300,NET
NETTYPE ipcshm,1,100,CPU
for two CPU. And we have about 100 connections via socket tcp.
Any idea for the error ?

Check your kernel configurable parameters. The release notes mention
semaphore undue structures but there many others to configure. Take a look
at all of the parameters for semaphores. You most likely don't have enough
to handle all of your connections.
Are users able to get connections at first and then after more people get on
receive the 25588? If everything works well with few users but does not with
many users then the problem sounds like a kernel issue.
