IDS Licensing

Hi all, Please someone explain to me how IBM does licensing for IDS? I have IDS v7 with about 20 user licenising, i want to move to xseries machine with 4 processors upgrade to IDS v10 and have additional user licenses. The big question is does licensing work per processor or per user or per connection? What is the cost implication? Can i move with the older licenses from IDS v7? Please someone explain to me this issues. Paul
