This seems to me like a smart strategy. Otherwise, if we load the new version and it doesn't work right - for whatever reasons we can't get back into business until we reloaded the older version. That means our system is down for the duration. This has happened before. Most recently (you've probably seem my posts, folks) we've gotten "Bad magic file/header" errors from `cpio` when trying to load Online. To date, we've found no solution to this, even after receiving a total of 4 Online CD-ROM distributions. If we hadn't copied files to a non-production directory, our system would have been down until we were able to reload the old version. -- * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ADDRESS ALTERED TO FOIL SPAMMERS: Remove "*NO-SPAM*" to reply.
