ontape (was ontape -r failed)

Hi there, we see in on other Informix pages, that the ontape we use (INFORMIX 7.31 UC2 for DataGeneral dgux) has an bug when restoring BLOB's into the BLOBSPACE. Is anybody out there who is willing to give us an ontape 7.31 UC3 or higher for dgux. We try it with an 7.30 UC2 and 7.21 UC?? but none of them worked. We only need the binary for dgux / intel machine, and it should be a working version (NOT 7.31 UC2) Thanks in advanced Dirk Hellmann dirkhell@cityweb.de

Just call tech support (1-800-274-8184). In some cases, with a critical bug like this one, Informix will give you a patched version of the same release level utility (ie ontape) even without a support contract so call anyway. Art S. Art Does this bug apply only to DGUX OS?? Or is it all OS's? Like HP-UX also? thanks allen "Art S.
