Friday, February 23, 1996 is the Informix User Group of Colorado Annual Training Day. Our annual training days have always been our most popular event of the year. This day provides excellent training opportunities at a very reasonable price, combined with the opportunity to network with other Informix users. This year we are expanding our training day from two tracks of classes up to three tracks of classes. We have taken user group member input and created an excellent mix of topics for this year's training. Each track is described below. TRAINING DAY SCHEDULE 8:00am Check-in, Coffee & donuts 8:30am Training sessions begin 11:30am Lunch (included) 1:00pm Afternoon training sessions begin BEGINNING INFORMIX TRACK 8:30am Introduction to SQL 10:00am Relational Database Design 1:00pm Introduction to OnLine 2:30pm Introduction to 4GL PROGRAMMER'S TRACK 8:30am Object Oriented Concept & Principles C++ 1:00pm NewEra 2:30pm Advanced 4GL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR'S TRACK 8:30am How to Design and Build a Data Warehouse 1:00pm Database Performance Optimization The cost to attend the training sessions is $30 for members and $80 for non-members (which automatically makes you a member). The fee includes a full day of training and lunch. Our instructors are all excellent. One of them is Claudia Imhoff who has been described as one of the top 10 people in the world in Data Warehousing. Reservations and advance payment are necessary.
