IIF2000 on Linux: Initializing ASF ...FAILED

I am trying to initialize the IIF2000 on my RedHat Linux and I receive this error: oninit: Fatal error in initializing ASF with 'ASF_INIT_DATA' flags; asfcode = '25507'. Can you help me? I tried to run oninit with a lot of verbosity. Here is the output: Checking group membership to determine server run modesucceeded Reading configuration file '/usr1/informix/etc/onconfig'...succeeded Creating /INFORMIXTMP/.infxdirs ... succeeded Creating infos file "/usr1/informix/etc/.infos.fonzie" ... "/usr1/informix/etc/.conf.fonzie" ... succeeded Writing to infos file ... succeeded Checking config parameters...succeeded Allocating and attaching to shared memory...succeeded Creating resident pool 560 kbytes...succeeded Creating buffer pool 2002 kbytes...succeeded Initializing rhead structure...succeeded Initializing ASF ...FAILED Any ideas? Are you running something else that consumes (mucho) memory? I get the same message (not 100% shure about the asfcode though) when I start informix after ~200 apache-processes. Thomas

-25507 usually means that you are using the wrong nettype value in the sqlhosts file. If you are using ontlitcp, try using onsoctcp or visa versa.
