I'm getting confusing reports from Informix :sales and support if this is possible. They do list that version :7.20.UC3 will work on a Pentium with this version of SCO, but the only :information they have on their web site mentioning a Pentium Pro talks :only about Windows NT. : :Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. : :Tom Todd :EIS Systems Of course any version of any Informix product that is ported to SCO Open Server 5.0.0 or 5.0.2 (these are exactly the same products if you apply the right patches with only additional language support in 5.0.2) will work on an Intel chip from the 80386 (well that may be *very* slow) to the Pentium Pro. These are binary compatible. We don't yet run on anything more then the regular Pentium, but we will soon get Pentium Pro machines and the software will run. If anyone from Informix tells you otherwise they don't know what they are talking about.
