Hi everybody, Hope some of you are still are using ESQL/C because I really need some advise. Currently I have to do a project in Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, witch include the use of ESQL/C. The ESQL/C access to Informix is chosen because that is the stuff I know how to do. Access through MFC and ODBC I have no working knowledge off - period! The way I use ESQL/C in VS 6.0 is this: Just do the ordinary *.ec files nothing new there - then add the resulting *.c file to the MS VS Project files. This works fine and I get the job done. This off cause means that when doing changes to the *.ec files I end up with a very peculiar cycle. 1) Edit the *.ec file 2) esql.exe -p *.ec 3) Rebuild project Question: ======== How to make the MS Visual Studio 6.0 understand *.ec tiles and that they generate some *.c files what is really what is to be compiled and linked into the project. /Lars Hesdorf
