Hi Informixs,
I need some help in enterprise replication. I had worked with it since
HDR, but now I have got some problems.
I have a Primary_target replication scheme using a central server and
four remote destinations with a 64kbps satelital connection. Sometimes
replication just don't work, some rows doesn't get replicated and I
don't know why?
I have checked logical logs in all installations and all are working
properly, by the way all destination use continous logical logging
(ontape -c).
Another key, there is not information in message queue files of
ATS,RTS......
Could u tell me if I am doing something wrong? and why it happens now
and not before?
Hardware Features:
1 SUN Ultra 4000 Sparc Server
4 Sparc 5 destinations.
Software Features:
Informix DSA 7.22 in all servers.
Sun Solaris 2.5 Operating System

First of all, you really need to upgrade. ER was initially released on 7.22
and has had a lot of fixes since the initial release.
You might check the message log file. You might be getting some errors about
undefined replicates...
Also, since you are on an older release, there is the possibability that the
times on the various machines are inconsistant and the target systems think
that the data was created before the replicate was created. With 7.30 we
started checking the times between various nodes when they connected.
FYI 7.31 is available for Solaris. It has some major cleanup code for ER. You
might want to consider testing it and maybe think about an upgrade.
