Ravi- In the US IDS WE costs $686 + $375 per additional user. So, a 10 user license would look like this: 1 IDS WE Server $686 $686 9 IDS WE Con. Session $375 $3,375 Total $4,061 IDS Enterprise, last I'd checked was around $1,600 per user, minimum of 10 users (the same ten user configuration above would be about $16,000), or $50,000 for an unlimited per processor license. So, on a smaller system, WE is much cheaper. Also, the support cost is proportionally less.
