Re: INFORMIX x DELPHI

Hi, You get this message when yoy tried to make a connection to the database without specifying a password for the user , while the client machine isnt trusted by the server machine. If you dont like the option of making the client machine trusted, you can specify the users password in setnet on the pc (or if it is supported by your appl, you can specify in setnet to ask the password at runtime) Hth, Bert julio@cpd.ufop.br wrote: > > Is there anybody using Informix DS 7.23 on AIX 4 and DELPHI? > The connection error is -956: Client host or user > (valid_user@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xx) is not > trusted by the server.
