Re: Perl & Informix

You need the DBD:Informix and DBI perl libraries available from the CPAN web site. FYI: DBI is a perl library with non-vendor specific, standard API's for accessing databases. You perl scripts will make calls to this API. DBD:Infomrix is an Informix specific extension for DBI. DBI will be useless without this layer. > > How can I abuse Informix from Perl 5.x?? > > We just purchased Netscape's Enterprise Server with LiveWire Pro > and neither Netscape's, nor Informix's site deals with Perl & Informix. > > Thanks! > > ========= << raj >> == http://www.brainlink.com/~frostbit/ ============== > frostbit@brainlink.com > SYSADMIN: BrainLINK System (718) 805-6559 // http://www.brainlink.com > ============================================================================ > > -- Bill Ennis Voice: 312-474-7516 SSA Fax: 312-474-7460 500 W.
