You can access your Informix engine via an ODBC driver using a third-party report writer. You can probably access the Informix engine from FoxPro via ODBC. I know you can do it with Microsoft Access. There are several sources for ODBC drivers for Informix engines. Intersolv, Visigenic, and Open-Link provide ODBC drivers for Informix databases. Some report writers come with their own suite of ODBC drivers (which might or might not include Informix). Your best bet is to choose the report tool first, find out what features it requires in an ODBC driver, than purchase the ODBC driver that provides those features (most ODBC drivers do not provide the same set of features).
