You havent mentioned which version of Informix 4GL you are using but I
suspect it is >= 6.x in which case you need to refer to the cursor as
follows:
DELETE FROM dilcf WHERE CURRENT OF cursor_name("cur_del")
Another point is whether you can delete or update a VIEW that comprises of
multiple tables. You have to check on that as well.
