We've run across a similar problem in 7.11.UC3 for UnixWare. There's some
sort of a problem with DBLOAD, in that it seems to be clobbering some internal
buffers whenever it hits some peculiar combination of data. When you move
the data items around in the dbload file, the problem finally goes away.
Report it....it's a bug. They had to recompile a special version of dbload
for us. The fix was a kludge, they set up a new environmental variable to
allow for some core-dump-type of checking. Just using this variable made
the problem go away.
