I have no idea what causes this sort of usage - in my experience with 2tier, 3tier & web-based apps, I've never seen anything like it - but it definitely needs looking into. I would knock on the door of your Network Administrator, start a dialog with Ifx Tech support and possibly get them talking to each other. Do let us know what you find. Rudy
