Hi, outside.
Configuration InformixStar, OnLine on SparcStation 2 (orion) and
SparcStation 10/30 (galaxy).
the table is defined by
col1 = int
col2 = int
col3 = datetime year to second
DATABASE db1:orion;
INSERT INTO db2@orion : _marsview_ei000001
VALUES ( 1 , 1 , datetime (1993-10-22 13:13:17.00333) year to fraction(5));
INSERT INTO db2@galaxy : _marsview_ei000001
VALUES ( 1 , 1 , datetime (1993-10-22 13:13:17.00333) year to fraction(5));
The first of the INSERTs is executed as one expects, the second yields
an error -1264: Extra characters at the end of a datetime or interval.
Nothing but spaces may follow a DATETIME or INTERVAL literal. Inspect this
statement for missing or incorrect punctuation.
Any hint would be appreciated.
Heinrich.
