RE: Installing Client SDK

Hi! All Informix products should be installed in /u/informix or /usr/informix, an Informix home directory. I don't think you should install it in root partition. Of course, when you partition for the Informix home directory, you need to allocate adequate disk spaces (e.g. IDS 7.30 + Client SDK 2.30, 600 Mb is enough and this includes your working areas as well).
