backup solution for 64 bit Informix

Hello everybody,
We are running a 200 GB Informix 7.30UC7XK instance on RS/6000 with AIX
4.3.3. The planned backup solution was onbar via Gbit Ethernet with Veritas
NetBackup 3.2 to our backup server with attached DLT library. As it turns
out, Veritas does not seem to support the 64 bit Informix version with a
suitable library. This would limit us to 32 bit Informix on a 64 bit OS.
Informix does not recommend the use of HP's Omniback. Legato's Networker does
not work with other platforms we are running in the data center. Tivolis
Storage Manager (formerly IBMs ADSM) is not very specific in weather 64 bit
Informix is supported or not. I was even told from Informix, that the
stripped down Legato version, shipped with Informix will not be shipped for
much longer.
What else is out there to backup Informix faster than only with single
threaded "ontape" backups? Does anybody use NetBackup with 64 bit Informix??
I hope to find some answers in this forum here - any input is greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Christoph

Before you buy.
I'm currently testing Veritas Netbackup, and have used it to backup a 64-bit
Informix instance on HP-UX. The distributed 3.2 CDs do NOT contain the
64-bit version, but there is a password-protected download patch that does
the job just fine.
If you are doing a trial, contact your salesman and see if they'll make the
contact to tech support to get you the patch. That is what I had to do.
Can you send me documentation on the 'Informix does not recommend OMNIBACK'?
My SAP basis administrator and HP system admin want me to test OmniBack next
and I'm happy with Veritas.
I used to run ADSM and gave up on it for the same reason -- no 64-bit.
