Informix for Linux

Most database vendors offer free single-user downloads for experimentation, development etc. I seem to remember Informix being available like this a few years ago, but I can't find anything on the IBM website now. I need to brush up on my Informix skills in preparation for a job search. I built a Linux box, but need Informix to add to my database laboratory. Can anyone suggest a link? -Jay

You'll need to register, but I believe that older Informix versions were available there at one time. JWC

This is because, unlike for example DB2, they do not have a "bomb" in them to preclude use after the eval period. To the best of my knowledge IDS for Linux remains available for download at the IIUG website (www.iiug.org). You have to be a member to access the downloads, but membership is free. I can't check because the website seems to be down at present.
