There is a DBD::Informix4 package, but it is not actively supported by anyone, not least because Informix 4.[01]x software is not Y2K-compliant (but I4GL 4.20 etc are). It is incredibly unlikely that 4.[01]x software will work on HP-UX 11.00; the software is about 10 years older than the o/s. And the Informix software will not have been compiled for use in shared libraries, so you are quite likely to have problems with anything other than a statically linked version of Perl incorporating DBD::Informix4 in it. Note: Informix does not version 4.x products apart from the 4.20 tools. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
