RE: Any Mac IDS users out there?

Yes. You need an adapter or whatever its being called to make an objective-c call from a Mac OS app. Since IDS runs native on a Mac, one would expect that such an adapter exists and is supported by IBM. So the question is... is the mac os/x adapter to native IDS, or DRDA since 11.x embeds the DRDA server. Does that help? Date: Fri, 22 Oct 2010 22:45:48 +0100 Subject: Re: Any Mac IDS users out there? IDS 11.x (including 11.50 and 11.70) all support both communication protocols on the engine. It should not be platform specific (used it in Windows, Linux, AIX, HP-UX)... In case of doubts one just have to check the machine notes available online: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v117/topic/com.ibm.relnotes.doc/notes/ifx_1170xc1/mach/ids_machine_notes_11.70.macosx64.html But, coming from you I'd expect something more on your mind.... care to share?
