Things to look at include CLEANERS, LRU_MIN_DIRTY, LRU_MAX_DIRTY, LRUS, PHYSBUF, and other such things like where are you trying to write the logs to? Is the drive sharing a UNIX filesystem that has somebody doing some huge disk intensive process? After you get the checkpoints down to a reasonable time, I'd recommend you take the Performance Tuning class, they spent quite a bit of time on tuning checkpoints. -- # unrm / ksh: unrm: not found # man cpio Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
