RE: OnBar performance tuning

Douglas,
To address your questions:
1. You do NOT need to restart the server for onbar changes to become
effective.
2. Not that I aware of.
However, the following website contains some useful onbar tuning
information.

Subject: OnBar performance tuning
I am currently trying to set up OnBar for use with ADSM and have a
couple of performance questions:
1. If I change the tuning parameters for OnBar that are in the onconfig
file (BAR_NB_XPORT.., etc.), do I have to stop/start the database server
for them to take effect??
2. From my ADSM server, I can see what percentage of the time the
server is waiting on communications (which I assume means client
processing plus network transmission). Is there anything in OnBar that
helps break down the percentage of time waiting on database, waiting on
communication, and processing??
TIA...
