PowerBuilder to Informix Connectivity

We have experienced some intermittent problems connecting Power Builder to Informix and hope someone out here has a solution. The server: Sun 2.5.1 Informix 7.23UC2 Several of the PowerBuilder developers have reported the following problem: We can connect to most Informix databases without problem. When trying to connect to certain other databases, however, we receive a -255 error (Not in Transaction). This error makes no sense since we are only attempting an initial connection at logon.(and all our databases use logging) Usually just the -255 error will be encountered. At other times we will receive the -255 error, a 20 second or so pause and then a -932 error with the error message "Error on network connection, gethostbyname (WSATRY_AGAIN) system call failed.". If anyone else has experienced similar problems, please let us know how you resolved them.
